Grand Marnier Cranberry Sauce Recipe

Serve this Grand Marnier cranberry sauce as a side at Thanksgiving dinner or with cream cheese and crackers for a classy appetizer.

Serves: 20
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

2 pounds fresh cranberries
2 cups granulated sugar
4 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate
4 tablespoons Grand Marnier liqueur

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place cranberries in a 12x18x2-inch baking pan. You want to use a very large, and preferably deep pan because the cranberry sauce can easily bubble over … trust me, you don’t want to deal with that mess in your oven!
Sprinkle sugar evenly over the cranberries so they look like winterberries covered with snow.
Add orange juice concentrate evenly across the pan.
Bake for approximately 1 hour or until berries are soft and easy to mash. Remove from oven.
Mash the berries and mix in the Grand Marnier.
Chill for four hours or overnight.
Add to a bowl and serve cold. I like to make extra and jar the sauce to distribute as small holiday gifts.
